ACHILL SECRET GARDEN

Achill Secret Garden at the Atlantic Drive is opening her gates to
welcome everybody who is interested in seeing the gardens.
There will be a presentation of the workshops facilitated by
Achill Secret Garden, like:
"Organic Gardening in coastal area's",
"Botanical Drawing",
"Creative Embroidery"
"Return to our native place" through meditation, art and poetry
Another event on the day will be the opening of an exhibition from
embroidery art by Wendy Kelly.
Possibly also a commemoration of Alexander Williams.

Workshop “Create an Organic Coastal Garden”

Karyn aims to give you an understanding of working
with nature to successful grow organic vegetables and flowers in a
coastal environment.
Theory and practise provides you with a seed tray or pot to take
home + key points handout for use at home.

“Introduction to Botanical Drawing”
Date: 30th of April

Willem will introduce you to some botanical
knowledge of different families of plants. From the garden you
will pick a plant, develop to view carefully and practise your
drawing.

Willem will teach participants how to apply colour to the
botanical drawings. From the garden you will pick a plant,
practise your drawing and use light and dark colours to finish
your design.
